# Session

A 'Session' is a means of capturing EEG data of a person and monitoring it within the app itself. We can also choose to start the LSL during a session.&#x20;

In an ongoing session, we can perform the following actions:&#x20;

* Monitor Raw EEG&#x20;
* Frequency Analysis of Bandwaves&#x20;
* Insights monitoring after calculating baseline for 1 minute&#x20;
* Running LSL for external data streaming&#x20;
