Positive emotions encompass feelings of joy, engagement, and motivation. These emotions are associated with approach behaviors and a readiness to engage with stimuli, reflecting a person's tendency to interact actively with their environment.

On the other hand, negative emotions encompass states such as disgust, fear, or sadness. These emotions are linked to withdrawal tendencies and a reluctance to engage, reflecting a person's inclination to avoid or disengage from stimuli.

The symbol for this negative emotions is 😔.


Neutral emotions encompass feeling when a person is relaxed and neither joyed nor sad.

The symbol for this neutral emotions is 😐.


Neuphony's Mood calculation provides insight into individuals' momentary emotional states and their levels of engagement or disengagement with stimuli, facilitating the understanding of audience responses to various media content.
