Markers
In the Neuphony Desktop App, we have the option of recording stimuli and response markers.
Stimuli Markers
Stimuli markers are timestamps of different stimuli recorded in the data during an experiment. Stimuli are inputs given by the computer to the user to check their reaction during the observations. These can be images, videos, or audio files.
Response Markers
When a stimulus is shown to the subject and they identify it, it is required for them to press a pre-defined key on their keyboard to record the timing of their reaction. These are called response markers. Response markers are recorded as timestamps of the keys pressed. Stimuli and response markers are available to download in .csv data format along with the raw data. These can be exported from the home screen in csv format just like a raw EEG file export.
